Bethel Assembly of God Church was founded as Glendale Pentecostal Assembly on February 7, 1921. It became affiliated with the General Council of the Assemblies of God on April 13, 1938. Bethel continues to be a house of prayer, with a New Testament Pentecostal distinction.
